Project Fresh Start meets its mission through these programs and initiatives:

Provide referral information for Housing, Education, Employment and Vocational Programs.
Our mission is to educate, inspire and encourage people with criminal histories, personally and professionally by assisting in empowerment through collaborations with other business entities.
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge. Homeless Outreach is something that we take very seriously, and our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact. Contact us to learn more about our commitment to this cause.

The time is always right to do the right thing.” “If I cannot do great things, I can do small things in a great way.” “Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle.”

Can I register to Vote if I have a criminal record?
A person convicted of a felony temporarily loses his or her citizenship rights in North Carolina. However, an individual's rights are automatically restored after he or she finishes his or her sentence, including any probation or parole. An individual can simply register to vote like any other citizen. If an individual registered before his or her conviction, he or she will need to register again.
